The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) is opening the nominations for members and non-members interested in joining the NAHC 2.0 Strategic Planning Committee. Nominees will be selected by a three-member Task Force from the Board of Directors. The Task Force is seeking nominations for representatives for the following seats:
- Forum of States: 2 delegates.
- The Home Care and Hospice Provider Sector: 10 delegates.
- The Industry Support Sector: 3 delegates. This sector includes consultants, technology companies of all types, and anyone providing a service or commodity to the industry.
- The Non-Home Care Heath Care sector: 2 delegates. This sector includes universities, hospitals, insurance, other associations, and anyone not involved in the provision of any form of home care or hospice in the home.
NAHC will be accepting nominations until November 15, 2017. If you are interested or wish to nominate someone, please send a resume, along with a brief description of why you or the individual you wish to nominate is qualified and should be selected for the position, to Caroline Marsh at cmarsh@nahc.org. We are seeking nominations of both members and non-members of the Association.
The time commitment includes a two-day in-person meeting to be held in January of 2018 (date and location to be determined). Our goal is to create a stronger and better NAHC — NAHC 2.0 — and you can be part of this important time in our association. Participants will draft the Strategic Plan for the National Association for Home Care & Hospice covering all aspects of the operations. The plan will undergo review by the participants of this committee before presentation to the Board of Directors at their February 2018 meeting. NAHC cannot cover travel and hotel costs for the in-person meeting, so those costs must be borne by the participant. We can not accommodate call-in participants for this meeting.
Remember: send your nominations to Caroline Marsh at cmarsh@nahc.org by November 15.
Help us create a stronger NAHC to fight for home care and hospice!
