Washington, D.C., April 19, 2018:

The Home Care and Hospice Financial Managers Association (HHFMA) and the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) are pleased to announce the call for speakers to present at the 2018 Financial Management Conference in Austin, Texas is now open.

The NAHC/HHFMA Workgroup has composed an incredible line-up of programs this year that cover a wide range of topics, from innovations to leadership to day-to-day operations of home health and hospice programs. We are also presenting two in-depth “boot camp” type pre-conferences that are back by popular demand. The program line-up is RIGHT HERE.

The Call for Speakers is open until Friday, May 4, 2018 and within two weeks of the close, faculty that have been selected to present at the conference will be notified. All faculty receive a full complimentary pass to the conference, but we do not cover travel and lodging costs or speaker fees.

If you are interested in presenting one or more of the programs scheduled for the conference, please submit your nomination to William A. Dombi by email at wad@nahc.org. All submissions should include the following:

  1. Name and contact information of each nominated speaker (you can propose to be a speaker on your own or with a team of people). You may also nominate any other individual you believe fits the program;
  2. Name of the program(s) you are proposing to present; and
  3. A brief explanation of your expertise to present the program.

Please understand that this is not a call to propose a program. Instead, we are looking for speakers to present the programs that are listed. While there is some flexibility in the specific content for the program, the program actually presented must adhere to the essential description and objectives outlined.  This method of conference design has been in place for FMC for over two decades and has resulted in the finest conference every year, drawing expert faculty and attendees from across the country.

The 2018 Financial Management Conference in Austin, Texas will take place from July 15 to July 17 and we are confident that a first-class faculty will make this the best FMC ever.
