Call for Speakers to the 2018 Home Care and Hospice Conference & Expo

Washington, D.C., February 14, 2018:

The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC)  is thrilled to announce the call for speakers to present at the 2018 Home Care and Hospice Conference & Expo, October 7-9 in Grapevine, TX, is now open! To facilitate this process, the portal for speaker applications to present is also open today.

Our group of nearly 50 education development committee volunteers created a list of about 45 education topical areas and 72 sessions we are excited for you – speakers, members, and attendees – to explore. Please consider a session relating to one of the 45 education topics.

Here’s how you can apply to present at the Conference:

Logging in to Access the Application Portal can be done in one of three ways:

  • Speakers or support staff may have held on to the eCode (an alternative to email/password that comes with every account) from a 2017 or 2016 submission and can use that;
  • Speakers or support staff may use the email/password combination from a 2017 or 2016 submission, or retrieve the password;
  • New applicants can create an account.

At the log in and don’t know if an account exists already?  Click the blue text to send a quick email to NAHC and check or, if you’re an administrator, you can proceed with your own email and at Step 2 of the application, search for an existing account of a speaker. Just remember that the email addressed used to log in will be the one NAHC contacts regarding acceptance/decline.

Subsequent steps of the application outline when and how to indicate that the submitter is not the speaker (labeling submissions and completing the speaker profile).

After a successful login, read the application instructions carefully.

Tip: At any point after a submission is labeled, it can be saved as a draft and returned to later for completion.

We can’t wait to receive your applications and see you at the 2018 Home Care and Hospice Conference & Expo in October!
