Call for Speakers to the 2019 Financial Management Conference

The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) and the Home Care & Hospice Financial Managers Association (HHFMA) are announcing a call for speakers to the 2019 Financial Management Conference in Chicago, Illinois from July 14-16, 2019.

The NAHC/HHFMA Workgroup has composed an incredible line-up of educational programs covering a wide range of topics, from innovations to leadership to day-to-day operations of home health and hospice programs. We are also presenting two in-depth “Boot Camp” type pre-conferences that are back by popular demand and version of the highly regarded PDGM National Summit that was held across the country recently. The program line-up is at http://fmc2019.nahc.org/callforspeakers.

As we have done in the past, the HHFMA Workgroup came together to determine the content of the conference so that it meets the needs of the home care and hospice communities. We are now officially opening the Call for Speakers.

If you are interested in presenting one or more of the programs scheduled for the conference, please submit your nomination to Amy Guberman by email at aguberman@nahc.org.  The submission should include the following:

  1. Name and contact information of each nominated speaker (you can propose to be a speaker on your own or with a team of people). You may also nominate any other individual that you feel fits the program.
  2. Name of the program(s) you are proposing to present
  3. A brief explanation as to your expertise to present the program

Please understand that this is not a call to propose a program. Instead, we are looking for speakers to present the specific breakout programs that are listed in the line-up. While there is some flexibility in the specific content for the program, the program actually presented must adhere to the essential description and objectives outlined.  This method of conference design has been in place for FMC for over two decades. It has resulted in the finest conference every year, drawing expert faculty and attendees from across the country.

The Call for Speakers is open until April 16, 2019. Within two weeks of the close, we will notify the selected faculty. Faculty get a full complimentary pass to the conference. We do not cover travel costs or any speaker fees.
