Upcoming Webinars for Private Duty Operators Who Registered for FMC 2021

The live 2021 Financial Management Conference (FMC) wrapped up in Chicago earlier this week, but the coming weeks will see five live webinars from FMC educators on topics of critical interest to private duty operators. The webinars begin on Tuesday, August 10. If you registered for FMC 2021, these webinars are free to you. They are only available to people who registered for FMC 2021.

On Monday, August 9, we’ll send you the links to the first webinars in the series of live webinars that will serve as companions to sessions delivered at FMC 2021. Led by FMC faculty, these short sessions are a chance to drill down into important topics that came up this week. For more information on the webinars, click here.

Each week we’ll be emailing FMC registrants to give them the webinar links for that week and to remind them how to access the video on demand recordings from the live conference.

Also on Monday, August 9, if you registered for the FMC, we’ll send you the log in credentials you’ll need to access the recordings from the live FMC 2021. Anything you wanted to attend at FMC, but missed, you can now access on demand at your convenience. To learn more about the sessions at FMC, click here.

In addition, a private duty session that was canceled at live FMC will be recorded and available for free to everyone who registered for the conference. We will have more information on how to access that recording, but below is the description of the session that was canceled.

Private Duty & Medicare Advantage

In 2019 many Participating Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAOs) expanded their beneficiary offerings to include personal care services and supports to add value for recipients and improve health outcomes. In 2020 the number of plans offering these services more than doubled, and continued expansion of plans incorporating personal care services into MA plan offerings is anticipated as more and more beneficiaries seek comprehensive service offerings that allow them to continue living safely in the comfort of their own homes. Private Duty Agencies need to understand key elements of working with MAP plans that are a part of the expansion and this session will greatly assist. This session will take private duty home care agency leaders through key elements of engaging and working successfully with these plans.
